The Chestermere Water Festival is a celebration of summer lake activities that brings the community together. With our annual fishing derby, wakeboard competition, artisan market, summer music showcase, and more, residents enjoy an abundance of ways to get out and celebrate.

New this Year 

• Chestermere Redneck Regatta: The challenge is to complete the race in the transportation provided! Options may include a Rubber Ducky, Noodle, Tube or what ever mystery transportation the committee may comes up with! "Fly, Float or Flounder" across the finish line in any of these ways. Just "Get R Done". Individuals and teams welcome! Visit the Hyperactive Watersports trailer to sign up.

• EPCOR Kids’ Fun Zone: Bring your kids and check out the face painting, bounce-houses, and our kid’s entertainer; Captain Jack!

• Lake Tours: Want to see Chestermere from the water? Sign up for boat tours at Anniversary Park.

• SurfsUP Paddle Battle: Want to try Stand Up Paddleboarding? Stop by their booth for a dry land demo, enter our Paddle Battle Race for $10 or make a donation - all proceeds going to help buy Camp Chestermere SUP Equipment. www.thesurfsup.ca
• Artisan Market: Stroll through our market and check out the local artisans.
• Beer Gardens: Enjoy a brew at our local beer gardens (hosted by the Chestermere Lions Club) while you take in the wakeboard competition and summer music showcase. All proceeds raised go to support local community projects.
• Fireworks: Chestermere Water Festival will end with a big bang. An amazing display of pyrotechnics by Spectacular Fireworks will be nothing less than breathtaking.
• Rubber Duck Race: Every year the Youth Encouraging Lasting Leadership (YELL) group organizes their Rubber Duck Race fundraiser.
• Wakeboard Competition: Thanks to Hyperactive Watersports, we will again be rockin’ out on the waves where locals and visitors alike will compete for fame and fortune.
• ALBI Homes Summer Music Showcase: Grab a lawn chair and sit back and enjoy the local flavour with a variety of musical talent. There will be something for everyone.
