Kids' Holiday Store Fundraiser

Each December, children ages 4 and up from all over Chestermere and surrounding area line up to see what is new and exciting at the Kids’ Holiday Store.

Before entering the store, kids can prepare their shopping lists. Then, little shoppers are paired up with a store Elf to pick out presents for their loved ones. Parents/caregivers will wait outside of the store until the little shopper has checked off everyone from their list. After, shoppers and Elves will wrap each gift in order to kept it a surprise until the holidays
.

Every Gift is $5

Each $5 gift your shopper buys means $5 is going right back into the community. These funds help residents in Chestermere and area in times of need throughout the year. This can be anything from basic needs to helping local students have school supplies at the start of the school year.

How You Can Help

Funds raised from the event or during the campaign season will help individuals and families in Chestermere and area with basic needs and emergency support all year round.
  • Donate Items for the Kids' Holiday Store:

Donate new or gently used items that kids can purchase at the Kids' Holiday Store. Drop off items in the bins at City Hall or Chestermere Public Library from November 12, 2018 to December 13, 2018.
  • Sponsor a Shopper:

We reserve a few spots each year for children whose families will be accessing the Christmas Hamper program. Every $5 donated to sponsor a shopper will help waive those costs for these families.
  • Cash Donations:

Cash, cheque, or credit card donations are accepted at City Hall (105 Marina Road, Chestermere). Cheques can be written out to City of Chestermere, memo Christmas with Dignity. $20 donations and more will be eligible for a tax receipt. More info.
